At Barre Displays Original Hollywood Dance Museum

July 16, 2018

Marilyn Monroe's Fur Coat and original photo taken by George Barris in July of 1962.

The coat was recovered in 2005 by the Marilyn Monroe estate. This piece was part of the collection that was taken by Inez Melson after Marilyn's death in 1962.

The signed photo by George Barris was one of the last photographs taken of Marilyn before her death.

At Barre is excited to display it's very own Hollywood Dance Museum with piece's from Hollywood's favorite icons including Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, Patrick Swayze & more! We are happy to preserve part of dance history and the early beginnings of these icons as they made their way to Hollywood.  Stop by for a visit! Check out a couple of our pieces in action below!
